Tried the search function to no avail. Has anyone had problems with a rattling noise from their exhaust system. It does not make it all the time only when you are accelerating not WOT. Seems to be coming from the passenger side. I have had it to the muffler shop and everything it tight. It is driving me crazy. Thinking it is a heat shield and somewhere from the manifold along it is touching. Any help is greatly appreciated.

i had a problem with an ox sensor rattling...

Check the exhaust clamps holding the tips. I had a rattle noise and read somewhere that the clamps may be too close to one another. Mine were within 3/16" of each other and when they got heated up were just about touching. I loosened one of them, rotated it and haven't heard the sound since.

I had a similar rattle and thought the transmission was coming out. I finally found a sheetmetal screw that holds the heat shield on to the body had backed out enough to hit the top front seam of the muffler. Tightened it up and no rattle/vibration. It is a tight fit at the front of the muffler. I also have a magnaflow on mine. Hope this helps.
