Radiator Question

I have a small leak in my radiator. So I need something to stop the leak for about a month while I get another one. I was hoping to upgrade to alluim. Where is the best place to get one? How much do they run? And will the 95 Cobra R radiator work? How good is it??

Thanks guys.

Alex

Stock Lightning radiators ARE aluminum. You're going to be hard-pressed to find a BETTER radiator... If it were me, I'd just visit a radiator shop and get them to fix the leak.

It's probably an end-tank seal?

Really?????

REALLY!!!!! I had no idea??? All stock lightnings do? What do you think something like this would cost to fix. My radiator looks black at the top so I never new.

Hey Alex,

I see you have your hood on now, from the pic you have it looks great! Do you have any more pic, that I can see? Thanks

I just bought a radiator a couple of months ago. I bought it from www.911radiator.com They list the radiator at around 168.00. If you call them you can get one for around 140.00. The radiator they sell for our trucks is a factory ford radiator. Made by Visteon. It even had paperwork with ford logo's in the box. At one time this same company was selling this same radiator on ebay for 120.00. Free next day shipping.:D

I bought one from Advanced Auto parts for 164.99 with a lifetime warranty. And it was a four core radiator. The part number is PA 3897680. :)

How many core does the stock radiator have? So stock radiators are aluiminum??

Black Lightning,
I sent you the pictures.

Alex

Thanks guys I'll check on prices for new and to get fixed and let you know what I do. Thanks again
