So I was going home after filling up, stuck at a light I noticed a white full size Ford Bronco (OJ style) and HE revs it, sending him a little to the front. So it's on right??? Light turns green he floors it then I floor it after him. I scratch another kill on the dash and countinue home. Well as I'm getting out of my truck he pulls up next to me. I figure he's going to ask me something about my truck. Not at all he throws his hand out and holds out a bagde (he's a cop). First thing that comes into my mind is DAMN!!!! Anyways he asks me what me hurry is and that he's got my plates down so I better slow down. My guess is that he just couldn't take the loss. I'm just happy I didn't get a ticket or even towed. FEEEEWWWW

Thats Bullsh!t!!! Thats entrapment and he knows it! If you ever run across that azzhole again, be sure to let him know that. And when he flashes that badge, be sure to get the number and his name. Then a simple phone call to his supervisor will certainly put an end to that type of activity.

I'll have to agree w/Rod

That is just not right, my brother is a cop, but lots of cops IMO have very fragile egos. Lightnings are not hard to spot in traffic, expecially if he has your plates.

Was it a government vehicle?? I think not...So he followed you to your place of residence?? About how far was it?? Hmmm...Officer continuing to follow you, off duty, to your place of residence...STALKING???

Just tell him that you were keeping up with traffic, or that he violated a few ordinances and laws himself...Citizen arrest his ass!!

I HATE COPS!!

Are you sure he was a cop, and not a cop wannabe? (Fake badge).
My dad was stopped in Texas, by a cop wannabe.
F#$% him.
One good thing, he did get your attention. Street racing is expensive.......

Who Know????

When he flashed me his badge it was the star kind like the highway patrol placed on a piece of leather. His white Bronco didn't have any special plates or any lights that I could see. I did notice he had beefy tires. One thing is for sure, he did get my attention. He followed me home about 2 blocks. I was thinking, he writting down my plates was BS because It was dark( about 8pm) and only one of my plate lights is working. He couldn't of been that quick to write them down. When he flashed his badge I came to his window but he didn't roll it down until he stared me down. Then he rolled away from the window and said "Step away from the vehicle". I guess I'll just have to be a little more carefull next time. I was just excited since I haven't been getting alot of races lately.

I wouldn't worry about it. He can't do anything about it except he might go tell his buddies to keep an eye out for you. He can't ticket you or anything like that. Let alone it was entrapment like was mentioned earlier. I can't stand punk officers like that. I sure don't plan on being like that. Alot of guys get a "power trip" off their job and abuse their position. They give the good guys a bad rap.

just smile and yessir, no sir, sorry sir, have a nice day sir him

After he leaves...

Ahhhhh, that fool!

With him initiating the race and being off-duty, flashing his badge is about the extent of his legal recourse.

Next time, pull out your Library card and flash it at him in a menacing manner.

BTW, good kill! :)

Was he in uniform? If so, Id probably just let it go and take it as a learning lesson. If he wasnt, I would threaten to pull his a$$ out of the Bronco and beat the s*** out of him for following me home!!!!! Anyone can buy those police badges out of a gun magazine or over the internet. There are lots of idiots in the world tryin' to pose as law enforcement. Either way, it was childish of him to do what he did.

Be cool children---remember your worst enemy out there in your L on the streets is yourself and your foot---not the peace officers---just say no to "hate".

Flash back---your folks just busted you for doing something really stupid---
Your reply: I was just following my buddies.
Your folks reply: Would you jump off a bridge if they did ?

Save it for the track.
Be safe.
