Question about Part #?

Hey guys, does any of you have a part # for the actuator gear(speedo gear) that goes in the rear end of a 1995 Ford Lightning? The guy at my local ford told me to get the number off the tag on my rearend but it was kind of messed up & i can't really tell. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I dont know it. You maybe able to get it from someone on the Gen1 forum. Or you could just tell the lazy idiot behind the counter to look it up on the computer for you. I know they have the part number.

Usually the important info they need from the tag is the gear ratio, which would be 4.10. I'll try and find out for you though, cause I could use one too.

Hey guys, i went down to the Ford place myself & spoke w/another guy who was able to order it for me. I should have got the #. (my bad) I don't know why some of these guys are so lazy; you would think they would want to sell something. Sometimes i really hate dealing with the ford places. Thanks guys u really help all the time. I think the guys on this board (DelValLO)have helped me more than any other board. I appreciate it.
