Pulley Size

Miami L

Member
One of my gifts for Christmas was a JL pulley. It was purchased at Murray's Truck and Speed World in Miami. The box contains the instructions, pulley, belt, misc bolts. It tells me nothing regarding if it is a 2#, 4#, or 6# pulley. I went back to the store and the sales guys gave me 10 different answers. I want to install it but need to know what pulley size I have.

Was wondering could I tell by diameter size, circumfrence.

Any help would be appreciated.

There should be a small number on the pulley. Forgot if it is on the inside or out side. That number should tell you what size it is.

Flash: what scares me is that *moderator* under your name...maybe 1 day you'll be in the other lane and me in the other and you'll get to prove how much you really do know...JL

Flash: the info. you posted was correct. however with *moderator* under your name i'm sure you could have responded to this ? in a more appropiate way.. Thats ok if you don't care for me and JLP thats your right. But to publicly bash me or any other for that matter is totally out of line Especially for a *moderator*

OK, just making sure . . .

Never bashed you. I just said you scared me; which you did.

No need to get all defensive. You made a mistake; it happens.

Best regards . . .

Ive read *many* of your post concerning me and JLP. They sure looked Negative to me and to many others who have e-mailed me about it. so maybe you can understand why i'm a little defensive here. Like i said i hope we meet @ the track 1 day and get to show how much we both really do know!...

Mr. Lightning,

I have posted, on a few occasions, results that I have found in dealing with various performance parts, including some that you sell. All my posts are backed with data I have collected and shared on occasion.

If a customer (which I am of yours) posts that he doesn't like a product, take it as constructive criticism, not bashing. Look at it as an opportunity to make your product offering better and more competitive.

Example: I didn't think the MAF adapter on your filter kit was very good quality when I compared it side-by-side with the JDM filter kit. Does that mean I'm bashing you? No, it doesn't. It means that I, your customer, was not happy with the quality of your product. That's all.

If someone asks, "Hey what's the best filter kit?" I have data, based on experience and I can offer an answer to the question on the boards. That's why we, the members of this board, are here.

As far as calling me out and wanting to race: Let me know when you arrive in Portland, I’ll rent an R1 and we can have at it. =)

Lighten up Johnny. The customer is always right . . .

Best of luck to you and the JLP crew in '02.

BTW, don't forget to submit your new times in the timeslip forum. ;)
