Prayer Request

[Gitchi Manitou]

Took the L out to dinner last nite. Had an excellent meal at one of our favorite Italian eateries. Good food, good weather, nice ride and a hockey game later. Life is good. I'm taking the whole weekend off also to do whatever the wife wants to do. Sounds like she wants to go to the Greektown Casino.

She won't have the chance to do anything for the next 3 months or so if all goes well. She is having a total hip replacement on Monday. Even though this is her 7th joint replacement, it never ceases to terrify her. Infection in a person with the foreign hardware she has would be a disaster. And she can't forget that a prominent sports figure recently died from just this situation. I'll be off work on family leave for at least a month to care for her, but I really need your help. Please pray that she makes it through this surgery and back home without incident and I'll do my best to take it from there. Guys, she's my best friend and my whole life, and only God knows what I'd ever do without her.
