Powerdyne Woes!!

Over my Christmas break I was driving my L with a Powerdyne BD11 A and it started to squeal like a bearing was going out. Well I drove it on to work and then home pulled off the intake side of the Pdyne and the impellar was thrashed. The squealing was it scrapping against the casing of the unit. Not only that but I pulled the whole unit off and spun the pulley and it did not move the impellar at all, just spun freely. This is still under warranty, but I want to know why this did this so I wont do it again. It had about 10,000 miles on the charger and it does have a bypass valve. Thanks

SVTF150R,

All I can tell you is dont touch anything on the blower. Just send it back to Powerdyne. Most likely one of your lower bearings went and made the impeller start to rub. It finaly got to the point that the impeller was hitting so much that it caused the belt to break. Thats why your pulley is spining freely.

Call Powerdyne and just tell them what happened.
