Hi, last night i installed my bottle heater. At first the switch would not turn on and my nitrous swich was fine. I took off the wires the power and the ground and hooked up my bottle heater and it worked. My bottle heater switch is working but the nitrous switch is not working. I tried to hook both of the switches to my to my fuse box but i keep on blowing fuses. I did put the ground for the nitrous switch and the bottle heater on the same ground so i think that is what is causing it. I dont know if anybody could give me some feed back i would be very greatful.

NOS gives you those cheesey blue lighted toggles with their kits. They OK, but once you get alot of accesories, they look like crap. If I hadn't already drilled the holes (at different times) I would've bought or made a nice switch panel. As it is, I have these switches mounted & hanging right now:
>Nitrous Arm-mounted above fuel pump switch
>Nitrous Purge-mounted above fog light switch
>Nitrous Bottle Heater-"hanging" over blinker switch
>Dual Fuel Pump Relay-mounted next to fuel pump switch
>MSD 2 Step-"hanging" over blinker switch
>MSD Timing Adjuster-mounted next to fog light switch

All of these for the first stage of nitrous! I haven't (and probably won't) install the second stage. If I were going to, I would buy a painless wiring switch & run all the nitrous stuff from there.
I have the 2 NOS blue lighted switches in use now, but I eliminated the ground for both. They don't light up now, but I don't care....less hassels. I too kept blowing fuses w/ the ground wire. It's just not worth it to light up. You'll know when it's on.

sounds like your overloading the fuse by using it for both the heater and the juice switch. run 2 seperate circuts for them. the best way to run the nos solinoids is to take the feed right off your stater soliniod and to the and run it to the jusice soliniod and then into the truck and through then switch to a graound which can be any metal in the truck. fuse it between the 2 solinoids.

It souonds like to me your just pulling too many amps for the fuse your running on. You have to remember that the bottele heater is nothing but a big resistance to electrical flow. Try putting the NOS arming switch and the bottle heater on 2 separate sources of power. This should cure the problem.

Do any of you guys have a pictures of your bottle heater on your bottles i would like to see them. I dont know where the termostat goes and by the way how long should i have the bottle heater on before i race.

I would think if you have a pressure guage on the bottle, use it. Check what manufacurer recommends for pressure, mark it on the guage"give yourself a span of 25 to 50lbs or so" see if your warmer gets you there and how long it takes. D`S93 NLOC#603
