Ahhh now that i got your attention...(and even if i didnt ) I would like to share a video with yas all and it dont have my mouth flappin in it,,Its me drivin RTD2 and My friend (animal)Kris shootin the vid,,,he aint very colorcommentarytypeoriented,,, some body got some water,,,that was a long word:Y So here ya ...go/...what yu are seein is RTD2 dippin back into the 13's(3rd video) with the new moto(lower compression)..i have lost power since lowerin my compression but have tuned and tweaked it back to runnin close to where he was with 8 lbs of boost(on stock moto).....2 more lbs of boost should nestle RTD2 to the mid 13'ssss..4 more lbs,,,hmmmmmmm..I better go hide those credit cards from myself,,so no more power can be purchased I am gettin greedy:tu: Notice the launch off idle..No traction devices...Just hoosier quick times and my trusty spare under the bed weighin the rear down...Cant wait to get better traction...that was a 1.86 60ft..i'd like a 1.7 to dip to the low 13's(my e.t. is made low)..the truck short shifted 4400 r's1st to 2nd(i shift 2nd to 3rd @ 4800...al torque baby..)I had the T.V cable misadjusted...small bummers...could of 13.6'd or sometin....hmmmmmm....Nice launch tho.......enjoy braddahs the smokey burnout is good..the smoke is still commin off as i stage..yessssssssssss smokeyssssssssssssssssssssssss


heres another video(runnin 6 lbs of boost and no traction,,,RTD2 gets an intro from the track announcer and smokes the weenies with a bad Burnee..abortion all the way..I think its a 14.5 sometin.. the track announcer talks about the 5.62 reation,by me, and my kennebell supercharger doin the top side , enjoy this too

And finally as an extra treat a close up with my nephew shootin and commentating a lil...good burnee but still skated da tire....14.49@8lbs of boost..ran 14.4 and3's all nite with the weenies roastin....

If I come to Hawaii on my own dime and bring an 11 second Lightning to your local track, buy you a couple of cold ones, and let you drive the L down the 1/4, will you go out the next day and buy one??

I know you love RTD2, and you have spent alot of time and sleepless nights trying to get her to run as best as possible and I really admire your dedication to her, but I would love to see the look on your face when you rip off a low 12 or high 11 in a Lightning..

I'm coming to Hawaii in 2003, maybe I could bring my L with me??? what Island you on again??

JJ i love the L and have been fortunate to drive em and not have to own one...here in hawaii its rediculous w/ the prices....But i love toyin and tunin....besides i am almost paid off and have Kids..so gotta mellow down....I am actually lookin @ a possible SRT8 with a kennebell on it and have at it with that...That'll probably be 2 years down and i will own RTD2(oh hes a He....:tu: )He got hairy balls(rtd2 IS A BOY)....I have gone quicker in cars but with a truck wooooo oooo ...My goal is a low 13 ...then 16 lb comes out(equiv to ya guys doin a 6 lb pulley)and try for a 12lve....I need to stop spendin to get the kids ready for college etc(i'm a single parent)soooo i gotta mellow down....But yu know what....Bring that 11 sec L here i'd love to drive it and look at it and hear and eryting else.....but here in hawaii(OAHU) be ready to slow down a tad(maybe 1/2 sec on avg high)We ingest soooooooo much water here its silly Butttttt its all good......Bring your sweety...By then NOSDOG and MONEYBAGS should be runnin 12lve's..And i bet theyd love to see your truck(a visitor) run on our Kukini BLVD(drag strips street name)I have mimicked the bottom 1/2 specs of an L(lower compression)i run numbers like a stock L w/ equiv booost here in hawaii so hes on track... annnnnddd dude i get alot of looks and gawks and YU know when i cruise this truck(should hear da noise he emmits)...I built it and I think i did a great job....he's clean and ready to soil himself and break his virginity:Y ..Gotta potty train him 1st

Not sure..And i usually delete the stuff on the R/T mailing list..There arent too much in the area of tech there...Just alot of chatting....The fastest and quickest R/T i believe is BigBird...(high 11's)there are a bunch in the 12's but most are the 13.'s(like me) or sportin 14 to 15.......second timeslips...That guy should just race ya and find out whos Daddy and then hell see the light and Love the L's and other things around and realize its all good....:Y

I hang on the RTML, and I dont know many of the FL guys, they kinda stick to themselves. The fastest RT I know of right now ( Many very fast ones being tuned ) is 11.50's. Thats in Texas. There are a whole ton of em in the high 12's with plenty in the mid to low 12's and seeking traction and tuning to make em faster. Including me Heads and Cam are goin on ... so ya better look out Hot Rod Im coming for ya NA bro and NOS as well

Danno my MAN! Whuzzup? When are you putting the heads and cam into the Dodge? Thats good to hear someone else trying to go fast on the stock shortblock. I have my traction issues solved now though. The JDM/Rancho traction bars are installed and the 29/14.50/15 (yes 14.50! still under the fender) Hoosier Quick Time Pros are mounted up. Im still in the hunt for a 12.99 on the motor. So saddle up and get er done!!!

Tim,

Theres only 2 that I know of in RT land. One is running a FAST, and the other is prolly gonna get one after trying several other alternatives No blow ups yet cept for a couple sets of head gaskets on either truck.

Its all goin in sometime this next month. Heads are on the way, but I have to polish the chambers up ( Who ever heard of porting heads and not polishing the chambers?? Sheesh ) Then I gotta tear into it Prolly gonna have a hell of a time getting the fuel and computer issues sorted. This is a BIG Cam for this damn Dodge PCM.. 284/296 230/240 .544 on 114CL. Hopefully it wont freak and go sideways on me.. hahaha.
I dunno if Ill nail a 12.99 NA, that seems a lil out there.. Ill be happy with a 13.4 or so NA. But Im lookin for that 11.99 on the juice Thats the main goal But Id settle for a 12.99 NA as well! I just dont see a head and cam combo dropping a full second off my NA ET tho... but it might! Just need MORE CONVERTOR! hahaha

Dont sell it short! My times dropped from a 14.33 to a 13.27 from the heads, cam (small cam) and the cold air intake I made. Its very possible to drop a second off. I hope to have my 11.99 this weekend!
