Pink, Rear Bumper

I have a red 95 and the rear tube bumper is starting to fade. I am going to have the bumper repainted and was wondering if this would happen again or if there is something I could have the painter do to keep it from fading.

get it clear coated? i dunno if the bumpers were factory clearcoated, but i think that if it is original paint and it lasted this long, a good paint job with clearcoat should last just as long or longer.

the 95's shouldnt have has the tube bumper they had the normal f150 bumper color matched, 93 and 94 had the tubes and 93's were known to fade all over the truck. so you either have a different bumper on your truck or its not a 95. you would have to have it repainted. when paint starts to fade like that it very rarley can be brought back to new conditon

Actually these bumpers are powder coated. I had one stripped and repowder coated it turned out great.
