Pics Of Nos Gt 40 "big Shot" Install

Since I had the upper/lower intakes off I had to re install the nitrous kit when I put it back together and so I took some pics to illustrate how the tubing has to be modified to fit our trucks.
The kit's is the "big shot" EFI kit for the GT 40 intake and is manufactured by NOS. This kit will work on our trucks with a little coaxing to make the solenoids fit under the intake.

First the kit: GT 40 spacer with spray bars.

Now the kit connected to the solenoids on the lower intake:

The fuel solenoid and lines:

The Nitrous solenoid and purge solenoid.

That's all there is to it.

I have to agree, but that does look pretty tight under there! You'll have to get us some new times with that set up, but also, are you going to squirt more than150 with the big shot plate??

brian, unless you shave your lower or "re-arrange" the firewall, i dont see it fitting. there is absolutley NO clearance behind mine for anything more than whats there

Russ: It's all put together but I am waiting on the EEC tuner to program the computer before I plug it in and fire it up. It looks good so far. Thanks for the help


Shane: I have allready been using the kit set at 150hp. It resulted in a best of 13.3 @ 100mph hitting the speed limiter at 3000 ft elevation. My 60 ft time was a 2.1 on that run. I think it can go in the 12's with tuning on a 150 shot and bolt on's.
