I heard this before, but never thought it would happen to me. Today as I was walking to my truck I decided to check if my fog lights were ok. I look on the driver side and everything looks good, then I look on the passenger side and... OMG!!
The passenger side fog lamp got a nasty crack with like three big branches coming off from it. Looks like a piece is about to fall out! Dammit! :m
I think to myself. Would this be covered by warranty?
What worries me most is that if this won't be covered by warranty and then if it keeps happening over and over again this may cost a lot in the long run.
I never had that problem in my '99 Grand Prix GTP. Why would Lightnings have it? What was Ford thinking when designing those fog lights?!
Has anyone here been lucky enough to replace those cracked fog lamps as warranty covered defect from the dealership (for free that is)?
How much would it cost to replace them if they are not covered by the warranty?
