Part # Question?

Anyone know the part # for an actuator gear (speedometer) that goes in the rearend for a 1995 Ford Lightning. The guy at Ford told me to read my little tag on the rearend, and i tried but its kind of messed up & hard to read. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tell them it is the aluminum ring that controls the speedometer.If he needs more info than that go to a different Ford dealer with hopefully a smarter parts dept.

He should be able to figure it out..It's just the excitor ring for a 93-95 Lightning...Heaven forbid you lunch a spider gear, then he'd be totally lost..As the spider gears are different then a normal F-150
