Opinions on Rear axles

Found some bad news working on the rear axle today. Guess I beat it to death with no notch and lowered.
1. Should I just weld it up and send it (new guts if needed)
2. Cut the spring perch off and reweld a new one in (both sides)
3. Get a near rear and have to reship and all that fun stuff.
-in any case I'm gonna weld the tubes to the center section.

This is gonna be the weekend cruise toy with the occasional track run.

Realize you can rear see th hole but it'd the size of a BB, you and was leaking fluid out of it. It I'd right under the bottom of the RH ride.

My solution depends on how it's lowered. Is it just a flip kit? If so, I'd cut the existing perches off and weld new ones on the correct side. Then fix the leak and move on. Actually, even if it's not currently a flip kit I would probably put everything else back to stock and turn it into a flip kit then do what I mentioned above.
