Ok to run pulley & filter w/o chip?

my chip is in the mail on it's way back to me from a re-burn, but it won't be here until next week sometime (goinf off fed ex websites ETA)

Would it be ok to install Boost bypass kit, cone filter kit, 2# pulley without the chip for a few days?? not gonna be racing, just driving to work & home. Have time to install the stuff now, chip will take a minute to put back in (25 seconds to disconect battery, 10 seconds to slide chip in, 25 seconds to connect battery)

I know the Oil Breather will throw a code (& SES light) so I'll hold off on that until chip is in.

i drove my 99 for a year with a #2 upper and a #2 lower with no detonation. my truck was bone stock ,no chip,then when i ordered a chip, i had detonation and had to send it back for a reburn.

you'll be fine ......... 6lb lowers without chips are usually fine

I drove my truck with the 4lb lower while my chip was getting reburned. Ran fine even in the boost.
