OD and High Horse power?

Guys what are the thoughts on going into OD with alot of power?My trans is still stock with a valve body and stall.
If you dont want to go into OD Im sure a rear gear change will have to be made then right?
Im not really sure how high Im going to spin the 408 but lets say 6000 RPMs

OVERDRIVE WILL NOT HOLD UNDER VERY MUCH HORSEPOWER/TORQUE IT WILL SMOKE IT ON THE FIRST PASS
