anyone here a pro when i comes to vehicle numbering at the drag strip?

Bulldoggie,

In many cases, the numbers are distributed on a first come, first served basis. WFC for instance, the number that appears in the upper right corner of your tech card is your race number. At one of my local tracks, the gentleman at tech inspection asked what number I wanted. I told him I didn't have a preference, so he gave me 330, I guess because my engine is 330 ci.(?)

I hope that was the jist of your question.

Jake...

cool, but my question pertains to color, size, etc. I know here in fla they usually use the last four of your social..do you know the rules pertaining to such? are there any?

Pretty sure the numbers have to be at least 3 1/2 inches tall.

I've seen a ton of aftermarket number kits and display boards. They are usually offered in white or yellow.
