I was thinking of the SUM-G4978-$99.99 from www.summitracing.com for my L. I was thinking of running my stock tranny cooler along with this dual cooler. Will this cooler keep my oil cool enough? Is it OK to run 2 coolers for the tranny? I do ALOT of highway driving, and I know that our E4ODs with thier 4.10s, in OD, make alot of heat in higher RPMs for extended periods of time. So I am looking to do 2 things here. 1.) Make my tranny run cooler and 2.) Replace the factory oil cooler with something better. I already have a B&M deap aluminum tranny pan on the L by the way, and I run mobil 1 synthetic in the engine. Thanks for reading!!!!!!:tu:

Hey Matt, I can't see any reason your idea would not work. But keep in mind that transmissions, just like engines are designed to run in a certain temperature range. Believe it or not it is possible to run your tranny too cool! I personally don't know what that temp is, but you could check with some companies like Art Carr and then provide a way to monitor the actual temp. Good luck! Greg
