From the picture, here's a tip. ALWAYS use one additional strap running from one side of the truck, wrapped around the front tire, and then to the other side. One of the main reasons bikes fall over in the back of people's trucks and trailers is because this one additional strap was missing, which would have prevented the front wheel from turning/sliding to the side, and then the bike falling over. All the front wheel has to do is to start sliding to one side, after a few bumps, and BAM, it's on it's side. I've seen it plenty, but I've never had one bike fall over during transport that I've tied down during my 10 years of owning and riding motorcycles.
