Ok justin, just installed ther new JDM flip chip i orderd from you on friday the 1st, it arrived with no problems, my truck had these mods on already:
2001 LIGHTNING
JDM filter kit
JL #4 pulley
FRPP throtle body
NGKTR6 plugs
BASSANI headers
I have installed a few chips and now all about the connection and i am 99.9% sure it is hitting all connections good.
The chip has a street and race program.
Well, after the install i felt the truck was not performing properly,as in not enough low end power,real hard to break em loose and a slight drop off befor 2nd shift and another major drop between 2nd and 3rd. Shifts are not much better than stock.
This street program shut my truck down tonight at 95 mph,i mean down like a limiter or something?????????????
If this is the race program then i am in trouble,after the results from tonight i am realy frustrated with this truck.

I ran my truck new with just a filter kit at this verry track and ran a 14.28 98.9 mph.
After those mods and a new chip Whats up with these times, i was shocked!!!!!!!!
I have all weekend to play with it so i might put it back to stock and start over.
The chip is comming out in the morning,the stock manifolds are back on and the stock pulley is going on to and the truck is going back to just a filter and #4 pulley and a new set of motorcraft plugs.
Justin i will call you in the morning,there has got to be a problem with this burn,look at those slips,and even my regular mech said it felt kind of off a little.
From a dead start there is little to no tire spin in "race" mode and street mode is a joke,the truck runs almost as good without the chip,and i guess that is a lower program than street?
The old diablo would blow the tires all the way through second and had me looking for tracktion sollutions,till i heard about the JDM flip chip and the new programs that were killer.Now i do not need the new slicks cause i have no power!!!!!!!!
