When does the madness end
Alright, I got the truck back from the dealer. I will look under tomarrow and see what they did about the fuel xfer problem. I need a gasket for the adjustable fuel pressure regulator so I can put it on. when they did the recall on that, I lost about 7 psi at idle so I need to get that back up where it was. we'll see if I can keep it together now.
What I would like to know now, is where can I get the rubber(?) boots that they use for the intake tubes. I will be needing them for the intercooler set up. Also, I am only seeing about 3-4 pounds of boost rigth now with is ok for now, but when I get the head swap done, it will read even lower, then when I get the intercooler done, even lower yet. So, can anyone tell me what size pulley I will need to see about 8 p after the head swap and intercooler with the shifts at about 5200 to 5400? and where can I get it? When I get all this said and done and tuned this is gonna be one fast mofo!
as an aside note, when I was there, I saw a pretty little 92 LX 5.0 5 speed that was painted in mystic. that thing was just beggin me for some chrome "R"'s in 5 lug wbig disks, a cowl hood, and cobra wing! 1 and 1/2 years til the bike and trucks paid for...
