Only a 100mph on that KX 500? I was doing about 108 on the ice last weekend with mine. (had my buddy with his artic cat beside me with a speedometer) I am also geared down one tooth in the front, and a 52 tooth on the rear. (I race this monster in the woods, hare scrambles, ). What mods have you done to yours? Just curious!! Roost on!!

135mph on a boat

150+ in a modded '97 Cobra (friend, speedo was buried)
150 in an '88 M5 (bro)
140 or so in my Torino when I had 3.00:1 gears (me, tach at 6k)..
140+ in the L in the second week of ownership (bro)
130 in my 528e (me, 15 mph faster than the factory said it was supposed to go..)
and about 115 in an '88 Escort GT with 160k miles(me)..
Fastest on a bike was 85 in a 25 because I was too busy laughing while I shifted at 11,500 to look at the damn speedometer..
But I did get over 25mph in a wagon when I was a kid, judging by the traffic I was in....
I think I've found the terminal velocity of every vehicle I've ever owned, from my first bike, through the RC cars, and motorcycles, and now the cars...
I don't think I'm alone in that though..
