I met 2 members today at Hallsville. Really great folks. I have now met about 4 or 5 and all were very friendly. TALON is where its happening. I will let the others tell you how the day went at the track.:D

I had my hands full today with a little project, but everything came out OK.

Lots of fun with yall, by the way I put that sticker on the back and its a little off. So I will order another. I did'nt think I could find stickers worthy on the back of the window. I like that one so much I got to have one for the front!:D :D Thanks Man!!

Next time use masking tape on the top edge to get it lined up and then step back and eyeball it then flip the decal up pull the backing paper off and the masking tape hinges keep the thing aligned while you press it down.

Martin Mfg. is a custom machine shop in Tampa, FL. My brother (Flats Man) has been getting fabricated one-off parts made for his 98 STX. Check out the custom tuneable exhaust tips.

Those are BA lookin!!!Do they affect performance?
I saw a clip on the Speed Channel this weekend about a muffler with similar features. It said you could change out the "Plates/Tubes"to change your sound as well as performance,Pretty cool I thought! That is a nice looking pulley you have there, does it change the pulley ratio:rolleyes:

I do want to know one thing, there are thousands, maybe millions,of F150s on the road with 5.4s in them, why aren't there any headers out there for less than $500.00?? :m .

Anyhow, congrats to u guys on your runs!! and look forward to the next TALON function.:D

PS.Saw a black 01 leaving downtown FTW today around 5ish,had a diamond thingy in the back glass, seemed in a hurry:tu:{Like a caution sign} Also saw a white 01 on Sunday at the Exxon @ Beach and 121,had a topper on it,anyone we know yet?:)

Jojolite- I posted this info on another board about the exhaust traps. I can easily tune for torque or HP in two minutes!

I went to the dyno today and played with the exhaust traps. To me it was very interesting! With the 9 lb pulley and my new opened up exhaust, no exhaust trap at all, I put out 282 RWHP and 315 lbs of torque. I put on the 1.75 restrictor plates and ran a 280.3 RWHP @328.1 lb of torque. The next larger plate was a 1.875 and I ran a 283.8 @ 327.0 lbs of torque. The last plate was a 2.000 which was the least restrictive that I had, and I ran a 286.8 @ 322.4 lbs of torque!
These little motors are real touchy about back pressure. My findings are that if you open the exhaust up you will loose torque but gain HP and if you close it down you will gain torque and loose HP.

I suspect this also applies to the Lightnings as well. You can definately open up our systems too much!
