What exactly is needed for a mass air conversion? I already have 8 30# injectors from my mustang and a 75mm Pro-M mass air. What else do I need? Thanks

How mechanically inclined, and comfortable with automotive wiring are you?? If you are, it can become alot cheaper..

email me for more details..

What a great idea for an NLOC newsletter "How To" :)

We appreciate in advance the article you are going to write :D

hmmm...I'll do it...For a free membership(I'm not an NLOC member...)

I know I know..You just bought a tuner, but you don't have the money to become a member?? I'm going to do it in person at WFC5....Tried at WFC3 but couldn't find anyone..

Hehehe, yeah, it's ncie that Curt is gonna do this. :D Saves me the time, although I've been wanting to do it for some time now. That and the rear end rebuild article. Maybe this summer... :)

...oh wait, Curt was gonna do it. Nevermind. :)

Shoot, I see that Curt is ahead of me in post count. If I recall, that knocks me out of #10 position now that Sparkman is on a posting rampage. Yeeeeeeee...

YAY!!! I accomplished getting into the top 10!! Actually Kevin, I was gonna ask if you wanted to do a joint venture on the subject of both actually...As I've got some rebuild advice of my own..Since I'm gonna have to do it again, and quite a few times before I get a Eaton..

In all seriousness wouldn't that make a cool write up ?

The rear end rebuild is a really good one.

I was also thinking a quick how to and parts list for a roller cam conversion.

What else can Curt do :D

Dangit...You guys are keepin track of what parts I got in my little Frat House room don't ya!!

I've got the pics and writeup to do a Mass Air Conversion

I've got roller lifters, spider, and link bars sitting in my room..

A tuner is on the way, should be here Monday

And I did a rearend rebuild 2 weeks before school(could do another one in under 2 hours now :)

Damn mind readers!!

You think I've got enough time to do that?? Posting 40 times a day on the BBS takes up all my time!!

But dad, if your reading this, I've got all my physics homework done for the next month!!

In all seriousness though guys.. I don't have a truck to photograph right now, but when I do my g/f has a digital camera to photograph, and I'm more than willing to do writeups and stuff..I could actually use the technical writing..So if you guys want me to do this, and would like to get in touch and give me suggestions, email me at frisk@purdue.edu I'll do some reading up..

As far as the roller conversion, I've got all the stuff to photograph for that.. And the MAF conversion I've got pics that Kevin sent me, and if I could get someone to photograph where the computer is and stuff like that it would be handy..

Long winded I know...Jeff if you are reading this contact me ASAP..Thanks, or I'll talk to you on AIM like I usually do every day! :D

Comments?

Yeah, these would all make good write ups. Would be nice to have some pdf files with nice pics, etc, of common ailments or questions. Thoughts I have had are:
- DIY MAF setup
- Rear end rebuild (Lightning specific.....although there is a great one on the Corral already)
- DIY center seat
- Roller cam install, and valve lashing 101
- Vortech rebuild
- ...and a radius arm bushing article since I hear my front end starting to clunk.

Anyway, seeing that we are setting trusses on my house next week, and looking ahead at construction tasks for the next while, I'm effectively booked until summer. :( And then it's S-Trim time. :) But I'd be glad to chime in if Curt :) wants to start the ball rolling.

40 posts a day. Yeeeesh.

Off to search for more building materials...

Raymond has 999 posts. Can he break 1000 tonight? Probably, if Curt keeps asking questions!!! :p

Raymond, why are you odd and don't answer my goddamn questions?? *Comeon 1000!!!*

Yeah well I'm talking to Jeff and he says we need step by step pictures, which I don't have..

I can also do the radius arm install since I just did that as well!! As well as a pivot bushing install, which didn't take me that long, and know what goes wrong, since I cracked my chassis..
