Lowering 2"; Hotchkis or FRPP?

I want to lower my truck a couple of inches for next season to help out on CG. If you had to pick one kit (Hotchkis or Ford Racing Performance Products M3000-L), which one would you pick and why?

While this is kind of directed towards Spike or ruslow, anyone with any info please jump in. Can anyone give feedback on how the front spring rates compare?

Any/all info mucho appreciado!

The rear FRPP is just shackles which is about a 1.5" true drop. The Hotckis rear leafs are stiffer than stoc kand race decent. They drop a good 2" or 3.5" on new trucks. I use Ruslows front coils as Hotckis were a little too light for me.

Installed the Hotchkis kit last Friday. Front drop 1.5 inches rear drop 3 &3/8 inches. Complete kit springs, bars, shocks, cam bolts

The rear springs don't seem to match the front spring rate. They are stiffer. The truck really goes around corners though.

I posted a picture in the gallery section for those interested.

Hotchkis soften the rears abotu 6 months ago you have gotten old stock. The fronts are soft that is why most of us run Stans 1100's or higher. The sway bars are the best upgrade to cornering.

I was wondering about that. Do you know how to tell the difference between the old and new rear springs?

I haven't asked Hotchkis about that yet but will next week.

I think they had diff part numbers. THe Roush rears are the only ones I have driven that feel good. But I doubt I will ever change mine.

They are lighter weight than my early model brick haulers ala Hotchkis. They still limit travel and use fewer leafs than stock. They are a lot more livable than the old Hotchkis. They are probably faster everywhere but the smoothest fastest surfaces. But over rough stuff and daily driving the Roush is a lot more compliant yet firm.
