Guys I love my 93, but am going to look at a black 2000 next week to add to my "collection". Here is a link http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/..._mileage=&color=&car_year=2000&ac_afflt=none. So what do you guys think of it? Price, etc? What should I be able to get it for? What was different on the )2's besides 90mm MAF, better S/C (I wonder if this one has the recall done?), clear lights and different wheels and shocks? What would it cost to replace the shocks and lights? Anything else to look out for? Thanks!!!!

that's less than I paid for mine in october. Got mine for 26k. I changed to 01 tail lights that I bought from Mark at LFP, much cheaper than ford's price. I also like the 99-00 wheels better so I will keep mine thanks.. Check it out real good before you buy. I am sure many people will say that it's too much $$ and that they got theirs brand new for that price, but oh well we're not all connected to someone with a or x plan pricing....good luck and I know you'll enjoy it...............JR

AutoTrader. com will charge you $20 for a report on the truck, which isn't bad if the info is complete. Like getting an inspection report on a new house.
Can you trace the vin number through Fords SVT division for free? If it was ever taken to a dealer, SVT will have record.

Thanks guys! Does anyone have access to carfax, that could check the VIN, 2FTZF0735YCA70474? If not, and the truck looks good, Ill just pay for a Carfax report. Does SVT really give out info on vehicles, like service history, etc?

if I've got this right you're looking for a mod '00 L. If it's true none of the above changes belong to this truck 'cause they where all done in '01, except the intercooler replacement if it was done to this L already.
Hope this helps and maybe you should look out for a '01 'cause the changes to the '01 would cost you a several hundred $$$ if you like to upgrade.
