Lightning vs. Chevy!

Actually its kinda funny. A white Chevy truck pulled up beside me, it had a techometer as big as a steering wheel on his dash! Anyway its very sad to be smoked by a stock Lightning with a spare tire on the back. I wasen,t looking for a race ,well ok a little, but ya I know SkankDog when I get the pulley and JL chip it will be better. But then thay won,t be able to read my sticker " Have You Chased A Ford Lately?"

Anybody with tach that big just thinks he's fast.

Good kill though....any race win is a good win. I can't find a race where I'm at even if it was to save my life.....damn safe drivers!

How's it going Rick, long time no hear from.

I hate to rag on the 300 I6 Fords since I have one, but we had one in the shop a while back with a 10k rpm tach on the dash and the redline and shift light both set at 8200 rpm. It was a real piece. I ran into the kid at the track last winter and put him in his place. I ran him with my 6 cylinder and beat him by about 15 lengths. I'm curious to know where he got the idea the 300 was good for more than half of 8200 rpm. Maybe the tach was setup for a 4 cylinder?

Heh...I was leaving the parking lot yesterday and saw a red Silverado SS go by....it had a superman sticker on the back window. Traffic was too packed so I couldn't catch up to him so I could tell him that he just met his kryptonite

I race monte ss's everytime i see them. The new S/C ones the guys that drive those think there the greatest thing since sliced bread, and i live up in Chevy country where all the plants are, and its like "not only did you get beat by a truck, you got beat by a ford truck on 22's"...LOL

Hey guys I'm new here, nice website. I miss my blazer but anyways, Speaking of killing all these other vehicles, I love watching those poor little mustangs look at the back on of my blazer it was great. I loved watching chevy's loose there ground also but there was just something about those mustang's and lightning's.
