Lightning rules!

I was getting out of the truck and see this dude walking with 2 awesome looking chicks. He stopped talking to them when he saw my truck and commented "hey, that's a nice truck!".

I was too busy thinking about things to do so I didn't react right away. One of the girls said "hey, I think he likes your truck!". I just shrugged and said "Thanks!" pretending not to notice the comment (trying to look cool ).

The guy then turned to the girls and said "that's the fastest truck on the street!" and all of them looked at it with lots of admiration.

Man, that's what I call a priceless moment! My ego went way through the roof!

I couldn't stop grinning as I walked away trying not to be very obvious about how much I liked those comments especially in the presence of those 2 fine ladies!

The cool thing about this truck is that I get comments like that all the time. People stop me as I walk to/from the truck to ask me questions and tell me how much they like my truck. Co-workers beg me to give them rides.

It's a great joy and honor to own this truck!

Anyone has any other good stories of people commenting on their Lightnings?

When my truck was only about about 4 months old I was packing it with stuff from our Anniversary party which was held at a local Italian eaterie. A couple ventured by and the guy said, "Nice truck" then stopped and said "Man, I think that's the nicest looking truck I've ever seen!" and then proceeded to ask me every question we've all heard at least a dozen times: Does Ford make them like that?, Is it fast?, How does it handle?, It's really supercharged?, Can I look under the hood?, etc. LOL, I don't mind really, like most of us I love to show it off. It's especially great when they know about them, but never saw one up close. Those folks are getting more and more scarce though......

Oddly enough...

At 5 ish on Friday I was leaving the office. I walked out to my truck and noticed a business card under the wiper from a distance. I thought it was someone complaining that I had taken up two parking spots (in the back of the lot no less). Turned out someone from the next business complex over left his card and wrote on the back 'Sweet truck, Can I check it out sometime?'.

Funny thing is, it's all stock!

I had a 3some with 2 hot chicks I met at a stop light that admired my L. True story. We even did it in the L. I have several friends that can back it up. one of their fingerprints are still across the drivers side of the windshield from when it was all fogged up. I love being single, and I love my Lightning even more!!!!!!

My 'story' won't compete with Lightningfastsvt's story.

I was gassing up my 01 silver L after a Fri. nite at the strip. I stopped at a Shell convenience store at exit #146 on I-75 in Ga. This was back in Nov(or Oct?) when the college football games were going strong and I noticed 4 or 5 FSU-stickered vehicles parked about the store--gassing and snacking up.

I noticed two coeds glancing my way as I held onto the hose(gas-get yer mind out of the gutter ). They kept looking and snickering to each other. Now I'm 62 so I knew they weren't giggling about me. As the Yukon they were riding in pulled by the back end of my L, they both stuck their heads out of a window and yelled "We love your truck--it's beoitchin!" Yea, it was the truck, not the ol' man.
