Level 10 converter trans fluid amount

This is the first time changing my trans fluid since the converter install. Who knows the exact amount of fluid that a stock GEN 1 takes
All I know is my truck only took 11 quarts of ATF and that is with pumping out the old fluid from the converter while adding new fluid. I know the converter is smaller in diameter than the stock unit but could the trans take 5 quarts less As a matter of fact I am a tad high, just above the cross hatch area on my stick now. Oh I used Valvaline dura blend ATF any guys ever use this fluid.

That sounds about right The stock pan holds about 6 & the conv. would fill as it was flushed. Glad to here my flushing trick worked Last weekend I serviced my all stock tranny & drained the stock conv. and used 14 qts:tu:

i dont recall exact amounts that it took to fill mine, but i thought it was higher than 11, im thinkin the 14 number is more accurate, even with the Level 10...fire it up and let her run for a bit, then keep checkin it, but it sounds like you know that already
