Knock in cyl 7

Johnny, in the last 48 hours, my engine has developed a knock in cyl 7 which has gradually gotten louder. It still is not that loud, but I want to take care of this before something worse comes out of it. I recently had my chip reburned (4.10 gears) and installed it about a month ago. Could this knock be being caused from the chip? Would you suggest a reburn? Could it just be the plug not performing properly? I definatley need some feedback on this matter so I don't throw a rod or something?

Have you come out with that new program yet that is supposed to prevent knocking and re-tune itself when you put on new mods?

Uh Oh, sounds like piston slap. I just bought a used L long block that had slap in #7. I am using for a rebuild. Hope it is not that though.

I have a stupid ? why would it be number 7 on both

its really hard to be able to tell exactly what your hearing. it could be a spun bearing. piston slap, or a number of things. without being able to hear it myself i just wouldn't know.. the new delta chips should be ready very soon.......
