keypad mod??

sorry i know this has come up before but i searched and came up empty,im looking for info about this mod i know i have the wires in my 2000 but was wondering what was needed and how much also is there any paint work needed?? thanks for the info

Na man, It is really easy to do. The doors come pre-wired and the door handles come pre-painted. I did it to my "L" in about 1/2 hour.
