While i was sitting home taking a break from honey dew's I was watching motor trend weekly I saw the new dodges line up for 2003 saw their new turbo neon 225hp and saw there version of a sport truck. It is called the " s/rt " it is the 1500 ram 2 wheel drive with the viper v-10 and a 6 speed they did not give a lot of numbers but all they said was it would make the sport truck market sand up and take a look at what dodge has to offer all in all truck looked pretty good of course they olly showed the black version wonder what is on there mind yea right. just thought i would pass it on before i forget.....

Donald, Actually I'm happy to see someone else come to the party. Personally I don't think the Viper V10 will make it to the production version tho...my guess is the new 5.7 liter hemi (345 hp) will make the cut since they will have a lot of excess production capacity with it (to the tune of several 000,000). I don't think they have enough production capacity for the viper motor with the volumes the truck will have (Dodge is saying they are not going to put a limit on availability for the truck like SVT does).

Maybe the neon will give SVT a reason to put an eaton on the Focus which is gonna hit the ground at a 50 hp disadvantage from the turbo Neon, and thats a LOT for such a small car, and no matter what they say it won't handle that much better to make up for the deficit.
