Is there a difference, even slightly between the years on cam specs?? I don't think so but I wasn't sure!

The reason the question came about, is that I took all of my exhaust off of my black 93 and put it all on the white 94 my Dad and I have! (i'm a partial owner in that one, so I own 1.5 L's i guess! LOL ) It sounds like it has a tad more rumble to her, and is a little difference in how deep it is! Maybe its just an idle difference, who knows! I know from vehicle to vehicle that you can have motors and such vary, but was just curious!

Later guys! :D

Where Y'at LilZeus, Compression and timing can make a differance. Do the 2 Ls have the same mods? Do they have the same heads? And which L is faster?

Thanks Jeff, I didn't think so! LOL

The black one that the exhaust came off of is faster! It went like 12.60's and the white 94 which the exhaust is currently on is a total stocker! But, the longblock in the black truck is stock as well!

You guys might want to look at the valve springs that the 93-94 trucks come with vs the 95 valvesprings. I think they are different.
My 94 truck has diffrent size/rate valve springs than some 95 lightining motors at a nearby speedshop. The motors at the shop are bone stock and still in the crate from ford. I saw the heads which are exactly the same as mine but the springs are different.

Just something I encountered while working on the truck.
