Intercooler Question

I live in Houston Texas and the heat here in the summer is horrible. 100degrees. So here is my question. I am in the process of installing a Vortech S-trim with intercooler and am worried about the size of the Powerstroke Intercooler. Does anyone on here run this setup here in the south and how hot does your truck get in the middle of the summer. I have the factory fan/thermostat. Thanks.... :tu:

I dont think anyone really has had one in hot weather yet. Most of us have recently installed them.(since fall) I would install a 180 thermostat and an electric fan for starters.

What electric fan works well? I've heard Flexalite 210. Is this correct?

I cant remember exactly which flexalite we have on our 94. Just went to the local speed shop and got one that looked big enough and a thermostat controller. One we have will fit inside the stock shroud.
