Hey all,
I have been loking around for the best insurance and prices for a Lightning 2002. What kinds of insurance programs do you guys have and how much are you paying? Also how old are you and if you would mention if you have any points.(By mention just say yes or no. If you dont want to say if you have points you dont have to. Just trying to get a feel for how much I will be paying.) Thanks Hunter

I'm 30, no points, insured with Erie. I pay $444/year. :) Not bad.

EDIT: It is insured as a pleasure vehicle and I have a multi-policy discount also. :tu:

...30, 3 moving violations (points? what's that) onmy record, and one pending. Insured by State Farm for 80$ per month. No claims and multi vehicle discount.

Im 30, one MAJOR accident(not my fault, hit by a drunk driver 3 yrs ago) and no points. I have Progressive 100/300k, comp, coll, theft, $250 deduct, un-insured motorist(a must in S. Fla) and I'm paying $1600 yr.

2002 Lightning

30 years old

multi car discount and the L is listed as a pleasure ride
no points
coverage specs:
100/300k
comp($0 deduct)
coll($250 deduct)
theft($0 deduct)
un-insured motorist($0 deduct)
Nationwide ins.
$1,020 a year

I thought that was good (they know its a L... says so right on the insurance card) The wifes 2000 exv6 accord was $1012 when it was new with the same coverage (listed as a daily driver)

how is it some of you are paying so little? Does the ins company not know its a L and only charging you for a plain f150?

Do you have blackmail pictures of your agent?:D

Actually my Insurance Company..

They have my truck insured as a regular F-150 truck.:D
I believe that I pay about $ 1200 a year and that's with Full Coverage. I'm 24 yrs old, married, father of 1 and one on the way,and multi car coverage. My truck is a daily driver, but I think I'll try to get it listed as a leisure ride.;)

Later...
