important questions!

I'm soo glad your back online, I've got a few questions for the experts here on this great forum!

You see I'm taking the L in for the intercooler replacment this thurs. and I've asked them to address a few other issues. Here they are:

1. I've got a problem with an idle fluctuation, like a hesitation or something. It also happens when cruising at any constant speed, not during acceleration. Ive pulled my Superchip and an resetting the ECU as I type. I'll find out if this works in the AM.

2. If this engine problem continues, will they check the computer to see if I've been chipped and will they void the warranty?

3. My other problem is "the clunk", how do I descride it to them so they will understand and fix it right?

4. Shouldn't they supply me with a loaner? They said they don't have any. I thought this was a standard thing on recalled vehicles.

I would say that the plugs are the problem. I have had 2 other f150's with the same symptom, cured with new plugs.

Your guess is as good as mine.

Just describe what you hear. I took mine in and described it and gave them the TSB. It ended up beeing a loose body mount, no problems since..

I think a loaner is part of the recall program. I would call SVT on this one!
