Hey Nos, I just installed the one for the grill last night. Its not hard at all. I will be doing the tail gate tonight. They look really good. At first I thought that they would look alittle ricey(is that a word?), but they turned out really nice. Glad I bought them. I also install a switch for them. Easy mod. also worth about 3hp.

They're not very hard to install. On my previous truck (a Ranger), I just simply grounded to the radiator, and tied the power lead into the turn signal minor wire (so whenever the parking lights were on, the logo turned on). For the tail light, what I've seen is just lead the wiring through the rubber joint, and tap it into the parking light wire. The wire has a connection, so leave that connection where you can access it, in case you want to take the tailgate off in the future.
What I wasn't impressed with was how quickly the logo wore out. It was too vulnerable to the elements on the front, and within 3 months there were sections that stopped lightning up, until only 1/4 of it was left showing.
However, I put the broken one on my Lightning, and just left it unhooked. Even by itself, it looks so much better than the regular oval.
On the Ranger:
