ILLNESS Meeting This Weekend

Below is the info on the next meeting as it currently stands. A proposal has been made by several members to reschedule the event for several reasons. First, is the Bears playoff game is occurring at the same time. This causes two problems. Some members are big Bear fans and thus won't be able to attend. The second and primary concern is that HOOTERS will definately be mobbed before we get there which will cause us both a problem with seating and parking. Jerry M. talked to one of the managers yesterday who expressed his concerns with being able to accomodate us because of the game. To insure seating, we would have to have some of us show up at 11 AM to hold seats for the 2 PM meeting. I'm game for whatever you guys want, but please get back to me ASAP so we can reschedule with Hooters or plan to get there much earlier. I would appreciate as many replies as possible.

Just wanted to remind/inform everyone that we will be holding the next NLOC/ILLNESS club meeting this upcoming Saturday, January 19th, at the HOOTERS in Aurora, IL. at 2 PM. We have a section of both the parking lot and the restuarant set aside for this event. All Lightning owners are welcome. Please come on time if you can make it, as parking spaces will be tough to hold.

Good point....I'm with you and will do whatever the majority wants...I don't want to discourage anyone who wants to attend the meeting, but maybe a noon time frame might be a bit better,your thoughts?

The weather isn't looking so good for a 'road trip' anyway. (I would just as soon not drive my L in snow/slush/salt.)

The Next Three Weeks are All PLayoff/ Superbowl weekends!

My vote is to either do it earlier this Saturday,
or on a weekend after the Superbowl(Feb. 3rd).

My vote would be the saturday prior to the Superbowl,the place should be relatively quiet and no problem with parking stc.We get to far into Feb and the weather will catch us,,my vote is for the 26th(sat prior to Superbowl sunday)

I can make any of the dates, but we will have the same problems on the 26th as we will on the 19th with playoff games. How about the Saturday OF Superbowl weekend (Feb 2nd)?

THE ILLNESS MEETING IS "OFFICIALLY" RESCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY FEB. 2ND

I just got off the phone with Jerry M. who is co-ordinating our meeting at HOOTERS in Aurora.
We are now planning for 12 noon on Saturday, February 2nd. I hope you all can arrange your schedules to attend. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again, and meeting some of you new guys.
