Got married in '89 and started going to school part time while working full time. In '92 I started going to school full time and working part time. My wife had an '86 Escort GT (black of course) and in May of '95 was thinking about getting a truck as her next vehicle. Within a few days I told her about Lightnings when one passed us on the freeway and a few days later she bought the L. I was just about to get out of grad school at the time and I had recently bought a Bimota as an early graduation present to myself. :tu: I traded some bikes I owned outright and a little cash for it.
Almost 7 years later you can see we have gotten a little crazy with the SVT thing. But we have both worked at the same company for 20 years and don't have kids or a mortgage. So I spend my money on cars, bikes, beer, and guns...and I waste the rest!

Had a 91 F150 that I made look like an L. Traded it June 94 for my new white L. Only have 31k on it now. Cut it in half 1 1/2 years ago and now have an extended cab. Been to 3 of the 4 WFC, raced in last 2 and planning on it this year. Have been on the e-mail list for years and still like it. I don't post much mainly lurk. Also joined that other deal out of Florida, got one newsletter and that was it.

I was #14, top that...hehe. I joined way early on when Sal was trying to get this going. He went by LordofFord then. Anyways, I let me dues lapse this past year but still keep up on here. I sold my 93 last April but still love Lightnings more than anything else. I have a 99 Cobra now and really like it too but its no Lightning. I WILL have another Lightning sometime. I should go ahead and pay my dues again just to stay up with things.
