If you have ever been taken advantage of by a speed shop, or "other" shop then you'll know how these guys fealt! It is obscene the amount of money they lost, but when you look and see the post-er has an 01 Z06, X5 4.6 AND a Z8 and the other guy is talking aobut supercars and paying cash..... Well they can afford to lose some money. But I still feel very bad for these guys and hope they get their due!!

The guy must have picked up a crack cocaine habit, or maybe was always stealing a little here and there and eventually lost control.

Either way, he needs to be spending time in one of our fine federal penal institutions picking up trash alongside highways for ten dollars a day.

Can you imagine buying an $80k car (cash) then agreeing to pay a shop $144500 to modify it (that qualifies as insane right there)? But I guess when the thought of dropping $200k on a Viper is more of a deal than buying and modifying a Ferrari or Lamborgini, you are not hurting for cash and are playing with the big boys! Think of what we could do to our L's for that, or how many L's we could own!?!?! But Henessey should not only be imprisoned and everything he owns sold to pay back these poor people he ripped off. But as part of his sentance he should have to spend a month with each person he scammed as their "slave". What is wrong with people these days????

Hennessey has been riding a good rep for the past 7-8 years. I'm sure his ego replaced whatever talent he has. Part of the blame has to go to the Customers for not knowing exactly what they are getting.

I don't think he is in the same League as Callaway or Lingenfelter or RennTech; all of whom can charge just as much or more for their work.

Still, its a shame, and a black eye on the hobby/business.
