I need some help guys.

Ok my truck is overheating in a couple of blocks of driveing. Ok whys it overheating? It's overheating cause all the coolant goes into the over flow. Ok whys it going into the over flow? We'll I think that my head gasket may be leaking, presuriseing the cooling system pushing all the coolant into the over flow. Thats were I'm at. I'm not driveing it hard just easy driveing, you know driveing like I'm nervious somethings gonna break or is already broken. Oil isn't in the coolant and coolant isn't comeing out of the exhaust(or enought that I could notice it). It seems to run fine. It idles smooth, not like one cyl is not pulling it's own weight and the idle is fluctuating or the engine is rocking.

What do you guys think?

I think I'm gonna torque the heads again and see if that does anything. If not, well I havn't thought of what I'm gonna do then.

Sounds like your thermostate is bad take it out and replace it with another and see what happens.this is probably your problem.

i had the same problem of the coolant going into the overflow tank. never had it over heat tho. it turned out to be the radiator cap that wasnt sealing. hope this helps. good luck

Go get a new radiator cap. If that doesn't do it then try the T-stat. But I think your cap is dead.
