Just got a set of Bassani stainless steel headers (on sale from truckperformance.com, why else would I buy them 
) I missed out the ceramic JBAs from ebay last week, so I'm content with the regular stainless ones. I've heard that the shine/finish will dull or fade over time, but are there any other negative affects to having non-ceramic headers? More underhood heat? Less life span?
Btw, anyone ever tried to yank/replace an engine while the Bassani headers were already installed? Contemplating going ahead and putting them on now, or waiting til I put the new engine in (months down the road).
