Hitch

I'm in the market for a class3 hitch for my 93....not that I'll be towing anything, just want one. I problem, I have a LUND Rollpan. Anyone know of a brand/ website that I can find one that will clear the pan? I could always shim the hell out of the hitch...?

I used to have a lund roll-pan. I believe my hitch is a draw-tite, it cleared, but I didn't think it looked very good because the hitch stuck out a couple/few inches past the roll pan. Now I'm running a tube bumper

I think Summit Racing still sells a hidden hitch for the roll pan for about 100 bux.

I have a brand new hitch that I got for my 94 Lightning and never put it on. It is for a roll pan. I got it from Summit. I will take $75 + shipping.

Fellas-
I just finished installing a Lund rollpan from Downs Ford.I used a hidden hitch from Belltech and it is trick.Buy a folding license plate mount from S&S industries,have you favorite body shop cut a small square hole in the center of the rollpan to expose the hitch and your all set.The hitch cost me about $190.00 and the folding license plate kit was $65.00.

Can you keep the spare tire with that set up?

The spare will no longer mount under the truck;the carrier and tire have been removed to make room for the hitch.The tire is currently in the front of the bed on a rubber bedrug.They make a mounting kit which requires drilling a hole in the bed.I haven't gone that far yet.
