MO351 said you have electric fans you got from autozone for $60. Can you tell me some about them. How do they hook up? Do you have a part number for them? How do you like them for every day driving? Thanks.
Yeah, Mudd's right. This time. I run a 16" Hayden fan. It has given me service since 1989 or so and it has never given me a single problem. I cant see spending $250+ for a set of Spahls or any of those other high dollar fans. This fan has been very reliable and keeps the truck cool even in the Florida summers. It costs around $60. It may be slightly higher nowdays, but not much.
But with that Hayden you have to run the factory shroud don't ya... yeah that's what I thought
I'm planning a Flex-a-Lite 210 setup, from the fact that it gives me a few Rwhp and it doesn't require a shroud.. That really cleans up the engine compartment.
