I had a chat with Scott from Powered By Ford today, and Im just comparing notes. He recommended 34-36* total timing with my combo, and switch to the 24s and a starting point of 42 psi fuel pressure. How does the timing side of it sound to what we have in mine right now??
Also, Id like to be able to advance the timing with the distributor instead of the Tuner. Id like 16* initial with the distributor and have the Tuner add the total and extra midrange timing. That way at the track, I can just spin the distributor back to 10*-12* and make a N2O pass.
Im heading to the track Friday night so Ill have some new performance numbers for you. Thanks for your time! :D

He he I had you at 34 degrees total :) BUT I had a much more aggressive table from around 2000 RPM up.

We'll have none of that distributor twisting mister, get a laptop ! :)

Seriously I can make a file that has all timing values set to stock and you can set your base at 16 (you're adding 6 everywhere) and I'll also put the WOT fuel back to stock. That way at the track you set the dist. back to 10 or where ever you like it and then just run the nitrous. I don't want to mess with fuel or spark on the bottle yet until you can baseline it. From there we can do some tuning, but I like being carefull with other people's stuff :)

I just got the N2O file. Not to be redundant, but this file has exactly what on it?? I just wanna make sure what Im supposed to do on my end. :D Thanks again

It's got stock timing so you can set your dist at whatever you want to and it has stock fuel for now.

The rest of the stuff is the initial stuff like moved rev limiter, speed limiter, tranny shifts harder and lockup at 83 mph in 3rd.

Its GO time!!

This is the night!! Its only in the low 60s today and in the 40s tonight. Im prepping the truck for motor passes only. If it will hook up, I should rip off some great passes. You will be one of the first notified of the numbers.
LETS ROCK!!!!!
