Hello

Kevin,This is Rod.You sent me a pm but it didnt work. How you been and are you moving to Eastern Wa.I wonder What Steve is up to.

Hey guys hows it going?
It has been a downer week with no NLOC. But I did ,amazing enough, get a lot of things done, Hmm wonder why.
Anyway it is good to be back!
Hey Rod, did Dale tell you the heads are at Haskells.
BTW, Dale, a little birdie told me you have some tricks up your sleeve for this year, care to share?
Later all, Steve
BTW, the GT40X's flowed 240cfm, intake and 160 exhaust at .5 lift out of the box. John has played with the exhaust port a little and waved his magic wand and in no time managed 179 exhaust.
Man I tell you this guy is good!

Steve
I would have mentioned it but these guys would either think I'm nuts or just wouldn't believe me. How many guys do you know that would rip the blower off there truck and attack it with a Bridgeport mill and a die grinder just to see what would happen?

By the way.....alot happened.... the truck is getting brutal.

I will install the alcohol injection system soon.

Night before last I let Herb Jackson drive it, at the top of second gear (about 60mph) it was still spinning the tires hard enough that the black marks looked like you painted them down with a felt marker (thats a quote from Herb) That all started from a 30mph roll on dry pavement with my 15 X 10 DOT legal drag tires on it.

Can't wait till the track opens, and dyno bash 2002'

Dale

Kevin,I finally found it.Pacific Raceways phone#253-639-5927
The guy told me racing starts in March. The 17th I think. They will be updating the web sight also with 2002 schedule.
www.pacificraceways.com Steve, Did John get the exhaust cfm With the 1.54 valve or 1.60. He can probably match the flow of a Twisted wedge head or beat it.I got the new 5.0 mag and Bennet Is getting 330 cfm out of the intake on the the rereleased wedge Heads trick flow is selling. That would be a nice head but too expensive.

Rod, those flows are with the stock Motorsport 1.54 valve.
I almost went with a set of Fox Lake twisted heads but I just couldnt do it after the last go round with the trickflows. I think though, if you got a set blueprinted from Bennet or Foxlake, Haskells ect. it would take the gueswork out of a lot of it. Thinking back on my bad experience with the TF's might of been Comp Cams fault. The ground my cam on a reduced size core. I guess that is common on used cores to get their cam profiles. Anyway rapid valve guide wear and with that valve train noise and oil consumption. I heard they arent offering the Brand X twisted wedges anymore.

Dale, you are an animal man! I hope you are planning a roll cage for that BadBoy. It is time to get into those heads, I think John is sectioning one as we speak! Got to find those water passsages before you know how far to port huh? Alcohol injection, what next??????
Later
Guys Steve
