That's pretty high. I bought some solid mm for my mustang through HP motorsport. They have adapters for the 351 and I don't think their over $100. And if your wondering about vibration...I can't tell the difference other then the motor seems more crisp because it does not have any flexing room.

Any movement on this? I just found out that a new set of factory mounts would be $130 and if I can get something much better for $50 more, I'm all for it.

I have my solid mounts out of my mustang. I might see if they will fit on the L. I think their around $75 from HP motorsports. I got mine off of ebay real cheap.

Hey guys, I installed those autofab motor mounts last year and they are basically the same feel as solid mounts:tu: . The only down fall is I'm not sure if you can install them without pulling the motor. You may want and ask autofab

Well everyone was telling me how rough it was going to be and how much vibration I was going to feel. Personally I couldn't really tell a difference. And this is in a unibody car. If there was a difference you really wouldn't be able to feel it in our trucks since they have frames with rubber mounts to isolate the cab.

The vibration with the auto fab mounts are not bad at all. The thing I noticed the most was I now have alot of cab twisting when I rev the motor. It's hard to explain but I really can feel the power of the motor in the cab. It could also just be the 408 supercharged motor too :D

Later,
Ray

Do they even make solids for our trucks?

Any issues with these Autofab pieces and headers?

And finally, do we have three people interested so we can get a discount?

Thanks!
Jeff

Anymore information on these mounts? Anyone else intrested on a group buy??? Did anyone even buy a set??

Alex

Do you really have to pull the motor to get these things in? I just found out my drivers side is cracked so I'm in the need of new mounts.

Looks like in the first post there is a number to call, I just sent my credit card payment in I think by monday I should be good to order, if we have 3 people I wouldn't mind calling and setting something up with them to finalize the transaction.

Greg (Dogman) I dont mean to take you away from the deal if you want to handle it, go right ahead. Just seemed like the post went dead.

Alex

No Problem..

I have other upgrades on the list ahead of this now, and my mounts ended up not being the problem. I would just give them a call, or e-mail and you should get the same deal..

Greg

So has anyone actually installed these mounts? If so how good are they? How hard is the install? How long is their turn around?
