Have some questions....

Well, its finally time to get the L ready for me to "take it over". I have quite a list of stuff that needs to be done to it, but I have some questions about a few things.
1) The fog light lenses are cracked and since I am getting the hood and bumper/fascia painted, I figure I will replace them. who makes the lights and where can I find replacement lenses?
2) I need breaks (front and back) and I was wondering if anyone made braided break lines for our trucks. My dad said that we should consider switching to braided lines because they make the pedal firmer.
3) Before I send it out to get dyno tuned, I want to change the cap, rotor, and plugs. Do you guys have any recomendations for plugs, or will just any plugs do.
Thanks for your help in advance guys.
Mike

I'll take a stab at it...

1.) I THINK a nissan pathfinder has the same foglite lenses. Head over to a local nissan dealer and see. (i'm 90% sure its a nissan of some sort anyway)

2.) I'm sure someone makes braided lines but i dunno who.

3.) MSD cap & rotor work for me. As for plugs, NGK TR5 is the stock replacement, and the TR6 is one heat range colder if you plan on nitrous or a blower eventually. E

has anyone tried the Bosch Platnum +4 plugs? thanks Blog, i thought they were Nissans, wasnt sure tho. mike

The Bosch Platnum +4 plugs are for vehicles with poor spark. And they are a wast of money. Go get some NGK's or Auto Lites. You can't be'em

The part number for the nissan fog lights is #999F1-AA003. But I think the hella's look better. I just looked at them on FastFordBoys truck and they look good. That is what I will be ordering.:tu: Hope this helps.

Do a NLOC search for the braided lines. Someone was talking about a kit in the "Road Course" section and had some pics posted. Ill be looking for some myself and I dont see any reason why you couldnt just buy some braided brake line and cut your own. Would that work?? Also I have a question of my own. Could the cable that leads to the rear brakes get stretched out causing them to lose effectiveness? I had to change brake cables on my mountain bike because they got streched out over time. (I ride ALOT)
