Garett and I were the only ones that went. There was a guy there with a red 99 from Lousiana who was running 13.6s bone stock. No other Ls there that I saw.
It was a nice change from last weekend at Ennis. We showed up out there around 11:30am and stuck around until 5pm. I made 7 passes and it only cost me $15. The traction in the far lane was really bad, the traction in the close lane was pretty decent. The wind was blowing pretty strong from the back of the track which was good!
I think I am going to have to invest in a set of slicks. I am to the point where I really have to go easy out of the hole to keep from spinning the tires too much. If anyone knows where the hook up on the slicks is, please lemme know!
I ran a new personal best :tu:. All runs were on the stocker F-1s and the temperature was about 47. I had a little less that a 1/4 tank of 93 octane Mobil 1.
If you need some slicks bad I will sell you my set that I have. I am changing to a 29x12/15 slick anyways. I have 26x11.50/16 MT et street mounted on 16x10 alum. wheels and come with the center caps and lugnuts. You might remember them back in Oct. at Hallsville.
Just shoot me an e-mail if you are interested. They have about 30 passes on them and 50 highway miles. Plenty of life left in them for this season.
All I have is JDM flip, JDM filter kit, line mod, jdm #2.
I was running on the E2F program I believe. I tried the 4969 on one try but it was pinging WAY too much. Once I switched to the other program I had no problems. It does ping just a tad with some major tip in on the highway still though It also still gets the Service Engine Soon light with the breather cap on it so I just took it off
I would like to get the JDM #4 but I just dont want to plunk down $400 for that thing
Hey man whats up! Thanks for the congrats. I did not get the slicks. I just isnt a smart decision for me right now money wise. Things are pretty tight still from the lay off. I did get the bypass. You ever get your line mod installed? If you need some help just let me know. I think we are going to work on Garett's tranny sometime this week. Maybe you could swing by and we can do yours too if you have not done it yet. I have been sending the chip back and forth with JDM trying to get that SES light off. Its at his shop right now, hopefully I will get it back soon!
I hear ya on the slicks. Have you gotten a new job yet?
I never did get the line mod installed... Never had the time, or the tool. Now I'm gonna make the time. No more procrastinating! I could use some help from you experienced guys
That'd be cool if I could hook up with you guys this week. Lemme know.
