Starting in July Hallmark will be selling the 31st in the Truck series our First-Generation Lightning in white. The price is $23.99 available at Hallmark card stores and is a good quality reproduction in die-cast metal. The code number is QXR8312.

You can do like I do. Take it apart and paint it whatever color you like.

The ornament just came out at Hallmark today and I picked up two just for starters. A second price increase happened to the ornaments that now leaves them at $29.99 a piece, but considering the quality that is presented and the chance it will always be wanted by collectors I feel we just have to put up with the price. I'd like to hear from others about your thoughts on having it around to hang on the Christmas tree.

We made our semi annual trip to Hallmark today and picked up mine. Unfortunately we found about $500 of other stuff as well.

I set my ornament on the dash when we attended the local Cars and Coffee yesterday and was surprised so notice it is painted in a pearl white instead of Oxford White like our trucks! It still looks great; I just didn't expect it to be in that color.

I picked one up from the local Hallmark store on July 12. The non-Oxford white paint doesn't surprise me at all. The ornament will remain in the box, along side the red Ranchero GT ornament from several years ago.
